Brandy Ferguson

Vice President, Human Resources

Brandy Ferguson joined Scout in 2015 and serves as Vice President of Human Resources, responsible for Scout’s human capital, including establishing strategy and executing all human resources initiatives. Brandy’s team manages recruitment and retention, compensation, benefits, employee relations, performance management, policy implementation and corporate ESG goals with a focus on maintaining employee satisfaction while achieving overall success for Scout.

Brandy is a Senior Certified Professional in Human Resources (SHRM-SCP), is a Magna Cum Laude alumna of Southern Methodist University with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, and has been certified by Cornell University in Diversity and Inclusion. Brandy previously served as Director of Human Resources and Corporate Initiatives for Authentix, an international technology firm backed by PE sponsor Carlyle. Also prior to joining Scout, she managed her own consulting firm working with clients in the areas of Human Resources and Organizational Management, specializing in high-growth entrepreneurial enterprises in a variety of industries.

Brandy has a passion for childhood literacy that she has fulfilled through volunteer efforts in Texas and Cape Town, South Africa while living abroad. Brandy is also the co-founder of Second Sundays, a family-led volunteer organization contributing to diverse causes in the community and an Ambassador with the MEANS (Matching Excess and Needs for Stability) Database. She is a 2022 recipient of Women We Admire’s Top 50 Women Leaders of Dallas award and holds an executive membership with the North Texas Chapter of the Women’s Energy Network, K&L Gates Chief Human Resource Officer Council and EWF International Dallas Executive Women’s Forum.
